The Suncatcher Rainbow Decals are a part of The Little Mountain Shop Holiday Pop-Up inside North Vancouver's The Polygon Gallery! I am bouncing with joy because The Little Mountain Shop selects which brands to include, so it is an honour to have been asked to be a part of the Holiday Shop. The Little Mountain Shop Holiday Pop-Up has an all-all Canadian lineup of mostly local, women-led, BIPOC makers and creatives which includes me!
The Suncatcher Rainbow Decals look pretty alongside Vancouver's most coveted lifestyle brands like East 29th (phenomenal facial serum!), Flax Home, Mumgry, Zimt Chocolates, and Homecoming Candles. Many of the brands are Vancouver-based, female-owned and BIPOC.
Little Mountain Shop is curated by the talented Natasha Neale. She is an amazing human being with a gentle soul and a killer sense of style. She has an eye for detail and design hence why the Polygon Gallery Shop has Natasha merchandising their shop space too!
I would have never thought to display the Suncatcher Rainbow Decals in a crystal-sectioned tray, but that is exactly what Natasha did! Maybe I can take the beautiful platter with me once the pop-up has come to an end because it is such a cute way to merchandise the Suncatchers.
Vancouver is brimming with talented individuals and I discovered several of them at this year's Little Mountain Shop. My newest obsession is Maria Ida Designs' blown glasswork! Maria blows all her pieces from her East Vancouver studio to create organic-shaped vessels in the most joyous colour palettes. I have already purchased a few of her tiny vases as they perfectly complement my Suncatcher Rainbow Decals, so I plan to use them in future product photographs. In the New Year, I will also be popping into Maria's studio to capture her in action and grab more beautiful glass pieces.
Other products I need in my life is the artwork by Paige Jung. I love the use of bold shapes and colours. The current lineup of holiday scents by Homecoming Candles are heavenly - Wintermint Vanilla Bean! The Seoul Tie Pullover with a waist tie cord from Paper Label is so cute and you know I love a good sweatshirt to lounge in. In addition to lifestyle products, there are delicious eats like the Wild Harvest Syrup, a wild berries-infused maple syrup made by Vancouver's beloved vegetarian restaurant, The Acorn.
The Suncatcher Rainbow Decals will be at the Little Mountain Shop Holiday Pop-Up until its final day, Saturday, December 24, 2022!
