Pink Tea Latte has hit the 5 year milestone!

Happy 5th Birthday to my little blog, Pink Tea Latte! I can hardly believe that I have been writing my blog for 5 whole years. I swear it feels much longer because it really has been laborious and time-consuming, but none the less, I love my cute little Lifestyle Blog! 

Technically Pink Tea Latte turned 5 years old on March 15th, 2020, but with the pandemic unfolding in Canada, I thought it would be in bad taste to start celebrating my blog in the midst of a global pandemic. Slash I was also super busy and did not have the time to even plan and organize something fun, so I am glad I was able to wait a few weeks. 

Pink Tea Latte continues to be a fun outlet for me to express myself creatively and share the adventures I go on locally in Vancouver and where ever else I travel to. This year I did have a couple of trips planned like Las Vegas, Seattle and Portland; however, understandably those have all been cancelled and postponed for the unforeseeable future. Needless to say, no one is travelling anywhere until the pandemic is over. 

I hope year number five will include more posts from me. I know I got a little lost last year in the midst of school, work and applications. It was a rough year for me. Personally, I struggled, so Pink Tea Latte had to take a bit of a back seat. Since I am now restricted to home and work, I have a lot more time to spend on my blog. Crossing my fingers that I can put out some awesome new content. 

No celebration is truly complete without a cake and this year I decided to bake it myself. I went with a light airy chocolate chiffon sponge with layers of freshly whipped cream and diced berries. Simple, fresh and delicious. The beautiful purple anemones and pink peonies are from Garden Party Flowers aka my go-to florist!
